I was born and raised in
Hoorn
, the
Netherlands
.
At
the age of 5 years I listened to Elvis for the first time and was
captured by his voice and looks on the album, even though I couldn’t
understand what he was singing about. But from that moment I’m an
Elvis fan and start collect albums, pictures and try to see as much
movies as possible. He is and always will be the cool king. My
neighbors showed me movies and I started to imitate him. Everybody in
Holland
loves Elvis, Rock & Roll,and to live the
American Dream. Nowadays it still is!
In
1995 I started singing Elvis songs, to improve my performance I took
singing lessons, study the Elvis moves and memorize the songs.
In
2000 I ended 3rd on the Elvis of Europe Contest, there were
30 impersonators from 9 different countries, after that I perfected my
performance and appeared on TV in
Germany
,
Belgium
and the
Netherlands
. I perform every weekend on different locations and
recently selected to do more tv appearances. So far, I have released
2 cd´s . On this moment I work as a General Manager in a
cosmetic clinic, where we do hair transplantations, liposuctions etc.
My
hobbies are singing, fitness, running and taking care of mine animals.
In
august 2004 I capacitate on the images of the king contest in
Memphis
. The World Series for Elvis impersonators.
My
purpose is to keep the Elvis memories alive and to entertain the people
the best I can.
There
will always be only one true king of rock and roll and that is Elvis
himself.
